If you know how to exercise you RIGHTS as a consumer and talk to the right people and documents all your letters to and from the store you will find that almost all of their return policy s are bullocks and they WILL pay for return shipping and they WILL send money or another exact item and they WILL not charge you restocking fee (this made me laugh do, Restocking Fee over a defective item, what do you think they gonna restock a defective item for).
Best of luck!
I'm slowly working my way up but I'm up to 3997Mhz @ 1.28v on air. I've left everything at default other than the volts on the cpu and 1 bump on the NB.
I'm trying to take a screenshot with SnagIT (my favorite tool) but i have black and grey lines running through the screen when i hit the print scrn key.. bleh.

Hey guys,
I am going to be purchasing this board soon along with 4x1GB OCZ Reapers HPC Edition 6400.. but i would like to know how would this perform with 4 sticks of ram? would it be OC'ing a bit better? Im also new to DFI and coming from a asus owner, had a few asus boards, p5k deluxe etc.. Want to try something different
or would i be better of getting some Kingston HyperX 1066 mhz stuff to give it head room hence 4 sticks?
Thanks guys

Can anyone post some photos with the Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120 mounted?
Anyone here also said they succeeded to mount this cooler vertically with the stock cooler on.Can I see some photos please?
Thanks in advance!

I just put mine together yesterday and the TRUE does fit well when mounted horizontally. It also allows you the option to run the NB HS passive as the TRUE 120mm fan will draw air through the NB HS fins. This is assuming you have a push system going on your TRUE. Mounting it vertically can be done but it comes at a cost. It won't mount in stock form, the top "shelf", of the NB HS, hits the outer heatpipe on the TRUE. I actually ground one side of that "shelf" by a few mm and it fit fine. The problem I then noticed was that getting good airflow to the NB HS in this configuration would be VERY challenging unless you moved your GPU to one of the lower PCIE X16 slots. This also comes at a cost of lack of good air to the SB HS. I decided that horizontaly would be the most ideal postion. Mounting it this was does decrease the aiflow to the PWM area but the heatsink is cool to the touch so I think it's ok.

I saw those, they are cool, but you have a case with the power supply mounted down, not up,like most of us.It is not very recommended to draw hot air into the power supply. If you mount the fan to push air into the NB cooler, you overheat the video card, which is already heated up.
Any other solutions to this?I wonder if all the motherboards with X38/X48 have this problem and cannot mount the Tr 120 Extreme vertically. From my oppinion, the vertical position is the ideal one.You have one fan that draws air from the case, cools the CPU fan,the PWM area, and then the air goes out with the help of the fan that is mounted on the back of the case.
If I choose to go with Noctua NH-U12P,will I have the same problem,or I could mount it vertically without a hitch.I am aware that the Thermalright 120 Ultra extreme is the best on the market.
Also,if I decide to replace the stock cooling with a Noctua U6,will I have the same problems or the mounting problem will be solved?

Hey Guys,
For these DFI boards, are there gonna be any new X48 from them? better then this one? and what is the average FSB you guys have clocked with this board?
thanks
Probably no future boards from DFI with X48.
One question:
which one of the P35,X38 or X48 is better with a quad?
