I have a pair of quick questions:

    1. Were the cables on the Silverstone PSU long enough to reach the optical drive in the top 5.25 bay or did you have to add some length.

    2. Are the brackets you used to mount the rad to the case custom or are they available from some retailer or another?

Thanks, I look forward to the next installment.

actually i didnt check if the cable was long enough i just made one right away and inlined it in to my molex line so i can minimize cables. so that blue SATA power cable i just added you can see in the pic

and those brackets are just some small "L"s i bought at ace hardware

    update:

just putting more working, starting to put in the tubing. thinking of ways to inline
some temp sensors but no idea now water proof these probes are. im sure
theyll be fine. res is bolted down now and put in some sound dampening mats looks
    nice in my opinion.

    enjoy

WOW!! That is just soo neat! Very good eye to detail, i really like it.

I like the way you sleeved everything, all the way to the connectors.

2 questions, i see you have those led beams (what are they called?) hidden behind the mobo, do you have a pic of the effect?

Other question, what are those adhesive ccfl holders, they look awesome, much better than the velcro that comes as standard.

Nice Job! I have a question. How did you sleeve the sata cables? I have some that I want to sleeve but I just don't know how to. I tried to take the end off but I think you have to solder it back on if you do. Maybe I am wrong though.

    hey thanks for the interest!

ive gotten much further, i actually have a working system

@spoony: you dont have to take off the connector, just
get the correct size heat shrink or get 3/8" heat shrink
and carefully stretch it to the right size. i like doing that
because it shrinks tighter. all i do is measure how much i
need, add a 1/4" to it because when you stretch it, it
shrinks alittle. then slide the heat shrink on to some needle
nose pilers and carefully stretch it to a perfect size. thats
all you got to do. i like to put a ziptie into keep the sleeve
from moving around, but you dont have to do that.
