Here are new results with vmods.

    3D Mark 2k1: 25986

    GPU@823MHz, Shader@2160MHz, Mem@518MHz and vGPU@1.83V, vMEM@1.8V

vmem mod is acting very weird... if i go above 1.9V card starts freezing even at stock memory clocks. Also there is some kind of over current protection for GPU because if i set voltage above 1.85V card will shutdown at load.

    I still say allow it.

Hmm seems like G H Z still remembers how to overclock after all. Check out that ziptie action.

well im back again. left the card to rest a few days before i try again,. i hooked a extra wiure upto each one but when i turned it on, one just started melting and i duno what voltage it was pumping to the core. tried after it and it didn't want to know at all. 2 days later it looks to be back again. lets hope i get a score up before iu break it again!

Don't worry Dinos22, 500 will be fine if you are pairing it with an Nehalem ES. You will be doing 35k and SuperPi 1M in 5 seconds at the same time.

Right, done all the updates, hope they are right. Nice score from Rol-Co and SpikeP in 03 and close battle bewtween Sandwiz and DragonOrta in 2001.

GHZ, I need a compare validation link for your runs still.

Just noticed it's a leapyear this year so we get an extra days benching in the comp!

    Regards

    Andy

Here's my '03 ORB link Andy. Still trying to work out the memory mod on this card, I may just have to hotwire it.

Cheers, popped you up there at #1

Considering the vast differences in all the cards the 03 scores are very well grouped. If we had all been doing the same card it would have been even tighter, maybe we should all do the same card next time?? Pro's and cons to that though, everybody would have to be able to get it easily.

    Regards

I can't believe how much my ram speed is helping me against Rol-co's 1ghz core speed in 01.

350mhz less core and that 75mhz ram advantage is holding it's own.

Nice results everybody, I think iam gonna give the card a last spin today, and max the volts! my card is okay, but the mem is holding it back, but its allright compared to all you hitting 500+mhz, will try a different approach today to get more memspeed.

Yeah, nvidia should have either gone for a 128bit bus or if that had been to expensive they should have asked the card manufacturers to go for GDDR3. That's a benchers mentality speaking though of course. This does seem to be happening with the new GDDR3 G94 (G96?? cannot remember) based cards that will be appearing soon such as the Zotac mentioned a bit back. I might pick one up at some point to compare.

I had trouble mounting my cascade to my card. Long story short, I accidentally melted the enclosure to the evap months ago while load testing, it is now non-removable

Mainly because it's pointless, it's all about the memory clocks...well almost I do plan on some sub-zero the last week of Feb just for kicks.

i think the main reason we are all running air is because we haven't got a high heat load to get rid off. We are all happily going up and up. this little lump of alumium s hitting 65-70c with 1.72v going through the core t load. If i need it cooler, increase the fan size from 4 to 8cm. There just too easy to keep under control when it comes to heat.

Mind you, what are they like going sub zero? do they have any major cold bug issues?
