tis true... the only way you can really get a good idea is the EXACT batch number... i.e. L737B6668 = 1.325vid L737B242 = 1.2something or other
took me like 10000000000x returns to get the cpu i have now... but i bought it locally from frys so i could keep returning it *they would just get labeled open box and put back on shelf*
abuse the return system and dont drive up the cost for the rest of us!
*edit*
@ expander
i just ran 3dmark06 cpu test to see what the difference between our cpu score was
27Mhz = 2 points on cpu score
i USED to be at that speed... prime stable was at 1.494 volts after that i reduced it to my current speed now im at 1.464 volts. just fyi.
when i put my gpu's under liquid, we will be going toe to toe it seems as im just 100 pts shy of that score and im using a stock hsf on my gpus![]()
i personally like competition because it pushes us to improve our own knowledge and push our hardware to find where its true limit really is![]()

My L737B and got a vid of 1.2125 & and L726A951 got a vid of 1.2875
