Hi im looking at this board to run with my QX9650 will it clock better than the Asus Maximus Formula Intel X38 ?

I am sure it will clock fine on this board as it was built to support them. From what I have read the x38/X48 MB may offer a little better o/c capability but not much( if any!) - DDR3 needed for any real performance difference. There main benefit going x38 would apprear to be for running crossfire and PCI-E 2.0. The maximus also seems a little quirky! I suggest you read up on the maximus threads and make your own decision.
