FSB strap and FSB frequency determine available DRAM frequency. Leave the strap on auto and raise FSB it will show you all available DRAM frequencies in the BIOS. I used to run my E6600 on a P5W with 1.5v @ 3.6 - temps were idle 48c load(prime) 62c with an Artic cooler 7 pro. On air no more than 1.55v -on water your choice if the tempos are okay.
