Do you even have a card?
Somehow I think Rol-Co has this wrapped up already with those clocks![]()
Update,

Still can't upload my 03 scores![]()
can anyone with the leadtek tdh extreme card measure the resistance on c710 and r605. they are just right of the the gpu vmod. lets just say i used a to biger soldering iron and now the card won't boot. Planning to get a miniture soldering iron soon. Maybe i will do better then. Anyway be great if someone can get the readings, or tell what to put in there place.
I haven't got a ORB score yet due to i can't seem to delete my previous 03 scores, thus can't upload them. However i do have a screenshot of 10,017 3dmark on 03, along with a gpu-z screenshot and cpu-z. Post it later on. I need to go to work!

Just put my card in to play and having strange problems![]()
Using latest drivers and latest Rivatuner, when i opened riva for first time after installing it said it didn`t recognise the card and may not work properly, try a newer version of rivatuner, i`m already using latest release![]()
When i try to raise clocks and apply, it keeps reseting to default speeds. Tried fresh driver and riva install...no joy. Anyone have any ideas?
First 3Dm01 run:
20448 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9332485
Core at 720/1404 with 1.32V, cooled with Thermalright HR-0551°C idle, 56°C load
memory at 420 with 2.08V
I did the vmods but wanted to run on stock volts.

Andy, I figured out why you cant see my scores I think.. 3dmark isnt reading my driver version it seems.

That is strange STEvil. I'm getting a bit dispondent about all these ORB glitches. I can't add Deanzo's and xoqolatl's score as the ORB is not up at the moment.
720 on core with 1.3+v is very good.
SpikeP, 13.6 and 18.7Kohms for 605 and 710. Yeah, you need a needle point not a spade type on your iron.

Sorry for crappy pic, parents went on holiday and took my camera:

I was looking over NiBiTor and I'm slightly confused by it. I go into the detailed timings, change a few things, save the BIOS and re-open it to the same values as before. Is there a guide out there or does someone want to drop me a fat hint?
saving bios saves a file with bios dump. You have to flash the card with that file, usually done in DOS.

Well the strange bit is that when I re-open the BIOS I saved with NiBiTor it doesn't look like anything was done. That is the confusing part, do the convenient drop-down menus for the ram timings not work?
Same thing overhere with the xfx , memory timings won't stick....look like its working but isn't
I believe I got it working. What I did was using Timingset 0, I set all the timings, then I copied and pasted the hex values in all the input fields for each timing set so they were all identical. Somewhere along the line I did something right as NiBiTor now shows the timings changed from 24 30 18 6 6 6 3 to 30 35 22 8 8 8 5. All I simply did was loosen timings, now it's time to explore the various timings and tolerances.
nice , let me know if you gain any mhz on the memory...that would be nice.![]()
An hour later and no improvement. I'm pretty certain I'm loosening the ram timings or atleast according to NiBiTor I am. I however am still hardlocked at 864MHz. Anything higher and the GPU doesn't render half of the screens. Loosening the timings did nothing, pumping 2.2-2.3v into the chips did nothing. I must have the worst clocking GDDR2 on the planet. Once my capacitors arrive I'll swap them out and see if that makes a difference but I doubt it. 900+MHz GPU crippled by subpar DDR2, it's great![]()
I was lucky today. I had to use an alternative power supplier, so i hooked the card on the 3.3v of my second PSU. 3.3v drooped to 1.7v :S
So i decided to hook it up the 5v line, and it dropped to 3.0v which i was aiming for. One trace on the pcb got on fire, and burned the black paint of the card. So the trace is naked now, and the card still works :P

These Asus cards are sweet other than the crappy memory lol... 2.2 for 478mhz. Next step up is 486 and it crashes... more volts!
3d01 22,560 810/1890/877 1.5v/2.2v vf700-cu (shader had more in it, could have run at or near 2000 lol).

I wonder if nVstrap could be messing with the driver detection? I had bilinear forced on in rivatuner on those other runs (not this one) and I thought that might be doing it so I disabled it (sett to auto depending on app) but seems to not have had an effect...
Also how do I delete old results?![]()
All along the watchtower the watchmen watch the eternal return.
Ability to delete seems to be another thing that is broken currently unfortunately. Nice work with the gpu, shame about yours and gomelers memory holding back the 800+ cores.
