    Hardly. Did you even READ the reviews. In most games it smashes the 8800GTX and Ultra.

    I don't think so, but probably Catalyst 8.3 will be the CrossfireX driver .

    Asus EAH3870X2TOP

    Features:
    * 1GB of .8ns Hynix GDDR3 DRAM (1200MHz/2.4GHz GDDR3)
    * Quad dual-link DVI outputs
    * Overclocked out of the box (speeds to be announced in our full review)
    * Custom cooling with dual fans
    * All copper heat-plate with heatpipes linked to dual aluminum heatsinks.
    * Much lighter wieght than the original reference design AMD Radeon HD 3870 X2
    * Dual slot solution

    the cooler will be lighter than the stock one and from the looks at the mem clock i wouldn't be surprised to see 900Mhz core on the card.

    we now need a cpu to handle the power

    yep , and the FPS are not too bad , but with the same old history @ lot of suttering (breaks)

    If they (Crytek/AMD ??) Fix ALL the suttering in Crysis , i think it could be playable with Very High settings (FPS in screenshots)

    If you ran a 3870 x2 with a single HD 3870 how would crossfire react? Would it see it as 3 single HD 3870 ? Also what would it default to speed wise the single HD 3870???? I am curious how that configuration would work.
