    Crysis 1.2 Patch Details

    The Crymod web site has posted up their first "Crysis Weekly Update", which is an official Crysis patch status report from Crytek to the world-wide community. The first update concentrates on details of the "nearly finished from a content point of view" 1.2 patch for Crysis. Some of the changes will include new grenade indicator icon, added team colors to kill/death messages in multiplayer, and more.

    i'm hoping that the patch will add another 5fps increase so I can run it on comfortably on high settings with my 8800gts (g80)

    I dunno, look at the first patch, didn't really do all that much, I say hope for around 5fps if you want, but expect as little as none in some areas or 3fps around the boat

    I just want them to fix all those scripted issues & general bugs dealing with the actual gameplay. 1.1 didn't fix many bugs that they knew about so they'd better fix them with this patch.

    i hope they fixed a lot of bugs at least.
    i just started playing crysis (i know i know, i just didnt have time before :P) and its the buggiest game ive played since i played this leaked half life2 alpha...

    i constantly get stuck with vehicles on rocks or other obstacles
    i constantly cant walk over obstacles cause i get stuck
    allied units constantly get stuck on obstacles preventing the story/scrip to continue/work
    very often alien units get stuck when they die and dont die/dissapear from the map stopping the story/script
    i can jump 5 meters high but constantly cant jump on or over obstacles that are around 1 or 2 meter in size.
    other characters in the game get stuck on obstacles as well
    helicopters keep getting stuck in trees or tall buildings
    when i shoot down a helicopter its wreck is making a weird metal on metal smash noise for like 5 mins
    the alien gun or gatling gun always stop to fire in combat as soon as i move them close to an allied unit. thats really annoying as it needs 1-2 seconds mouse button 1 pressed to start firing again...

    Then you won't be playing the game on your 8800GTX period at very high settings. 2560x1600 is way too much to ask for from a single 8800GTX and this game.

    The game is really good imo, i still happen to launch it and just go into the middle of the jungle and start minigunning the foliage, cutting trees and whatnot Extreme fun .

    Cant believe how many people complain about the nanosuit doing what it was designed to do. It is supposed to show threats. So if a grenade is coming at you it tells you that. I like the hexagon better than the dumb triangle though. More nanosuit-ish.

    I will wait for reviews, Patch 1.1 got me more bugs then it is to remove. Had to System restore it back.

    I did not encounted any of these problems.

    I did get my car stuck up ontop of a rock or a tree stump from time to time, but try and drive over one in real life, the same thing happens, trust me

    I also get the one with the helicopter parts bouncing around for ages when I shoot one down, that is a bug for sure, but its nothing worse than any other game. Bodies bounce around for me in most FPS like quake 4 and FEAR and oblivion was horrible. But only helis do it in this, so not so bad.

    Looking foward to an FPS increase as alwyas, but I dont even find that an issue, it says 35-40 on the indicator, but plays like its 100 plus.
