Oh c'mon m8... that comment wasn't meant to be an attack on anyone's input and you know it. Being a little sarcastic is just the way I deal with this, because I never had dying mobos before and because it sucks.
Now, I have been around long enough to know that it's not my fault these boards died (except that I did overclock, which doesn't make me more guilty than any one of you).
I did check the block pressure, and like I said, it was as high as it gets.
Better cooling probably wouldn't help, considering andre X_X is having the same problems with a Dualcore. He was also running folding with >100A drawn from the CPU and he uses stock cooling with extra fans so I'm guessing it won't help either.
However, if you are right and the problem really is about cooling, we will see with the next one, since I will be using the new prototype block Mips sent me that goes directly onto the PWMs with thermal grease.
I really can't accept you blaming me for being the one who killed these boards out of stupidity or carelessness. It's not true and you know it - you'd also be mad if this had happened to you, now wouldn't you![]()
