I'm afraid you still missed my point - I did NOT intend to take it out on any one (or even specifically on you) and honestly, I don't see why you felt that way. You just gonna have to believe me, or ignore it.
About the 165A, of course I stepped down as soon as I saw it... but it didn't help, because one or more phase chips died. See, after the incident, I got like 110A at 3Ghz with 1,1V or so
Bottom line is, this mobo definitely has problems with permanent high load, no matter if the cooling is altered or not. I sure hope Johnny and Abit can figure it out together.
