I just tested this with a P5N32-E SLI board which also uses Soundmax
I installed these drivers dated 18/01/2008 on the FTP:
ftp://ftp.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/aud...0162_Vista.zip
When the AudioESP window popped up asking me what I had plugged into the green jack, instead of leaving the default option for front panel headphones, I chose the option for Front Speakers (L/R) / Rear Headphones
