You plumbed the blocks on yours exactly like I've settled on for mine.
Once the mosfet blocks are added that seems the best layout for tube.
    Like your stealthing work.
I did the same to DVD but used the plate with holes. Thought of switching to black nuts and bolts on your face plates?
Very classy job. You must be pleased.

    Peebee,

Very nice work! Clever ideas and strategic placement.

A quick question for you. In post #2, the 10th picture, "The orande rubber sponge is fixed to the black material with hot melt adhesive, or whatever you call that". What is the black material and hot melt adhesive called and where can it be purchased?

    Thanks

That is what I was asking, what are the advantages of the VFD over the next model down?

thx! And yep, I thought of changing to black nuts, but I am still looking for some special more flat nuts. I know what I want, I have it already in mind, but I didnīt see it yet. Still got some stuff to do, so I have some time to find them.

Tim Taylor could help you out . Do you have these do-it-yourself-stores? where you can buy paint, bathroom material, stuff to built a house and so on? There you can buy heating-pistols which are loaded with glue sticks. That is what I mean with hot melt adhesive. We say Heissklebepistole" Did not get another translation.

    Sticks: http://www.glfi.com/scGlueHotMeltStickPN284.gif
    Pistol: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...ebePistole.jpg

The sponge is sponge rubber and the black material is cellular rubber.
This is used to buff/plaster/hoover up walls. (have no idea what you call it )

Like already told disrupt some posts before. You can choose any colour for your display by just adding a coloured piece of plastic (foil/leaf) in the front of the display. You donīt have to stay by one colour. If you like to change, just go and get some of this material used for Disco-Spots to get different colour for your VFD.

It is not a display only, with all the optional stuff it controls your whole PC and fans according to your temps. In case of emergency (temps too high or no flow anymore) it shuts down your PC. (Just add an optional ATX-Break-Cable) It also keeps your PC as quiet as possible, but if more performance is needed ist speeds up fans etc.

The VFD is more expensive because of this high quality display. Once you have had that aquaero you wonīt miss it anymore. He is taking care of your rig

it is one of the best materials to kill vibrations and it is also cheap. I paid around 4€ per mat.

Hey no problem disrupt. Don´t care. It´s not new to the world and I didn´t invent that! It´s simply stealthmodding and optical finetuning. Just in another way.

Here is also an english support forum for these products: http://www.aqua-computer-systeme.de/forum-index.htm
(all down) The software Aquasuite is also in english, if you choose it in installation or menu.

Hey Prodigy! I just saw your polishing now. Excellent dude! That is all worth it. Did you have to rework it in the meantime? Or did it stay as clear as it was?

It was worth it. But I tell you this, you couldn't PAY me to do it again. It took me 3 days of sanding/polishing/sanding/polishing and more of the same for about a total of about 14 hours until it was a true mirror reflection, no cloudiness.

I like a clean system, so I regularly give a nice burst of compressed air for dust and the like. I also use a clean microfiber cloth to rub the aluminum and plexi window. And with said maintenance it still looks just as good 7 months later.

Sometimes compressed air would be pretty good. But I ain´t got any compressor. Maybe I should look after a small solution anywhere. Microfiber rocks I steal them from my wife.

A can of compressed air works just fine.

So! Just switched Slim Triple in top to the Nexxxxos ExtremeIII from the front bay and instead of that one a TC PA 120.3 incl. Shroud is now running there in the left side. Put DVD, HDD and aquero etc. into the right.

Just to make sure, the TC won´t take some of the warmed air from inside of the case, I sealed the sides with some sponge stuff. But see yourself, because pics say more than words.

Hi Peebee - let me say that I find it very inspiring to study other 343s while I am currently building my own. I have a question about your setup - you say that you use foam to prevent heated air from the case to be sucked through the PA 120.3 in the front panel. What about the radiator in the top panel then? That is where the hot air would naturally end up - rising to the top. Have you thought of any measures to optimize the conditions for that radiator too?
I have a HW Labs GT Pro III in the front and a Nexxos II to be placed in the top with the radiator plate (optional item - not yet delivered).

That is what I am aiming next! The top rad also needs to be sealed from upcoming warm air. I thought of a plexi frame around the fans of the top rad. I am still not quite sure how I will do it. Buying a panel would be too easy and there is only a dual panel available. The main thing I didn´t like with the panel, was the thing, that I cannot lift the Top anymore without removing the rad. That was the thing that really made me say: NO WAY! I want to remove the Top without any compromising.

Still looking good . I'm also considering some small changes to my rig, but will post details later in my build thread.

I did have a couple of minor 'challenges' with my case and was wondering how you handled them.

Firstly, the drive bay covers on the left. I was able to secure them from both sides. However, with everything installed, I can't access the screws on the right side (centre of case) to remove the covers. This means I can't access the filters in the lower 2 bay covers to remove and clean them. I was considering modding the bay covers to allow a single long filter, although I suspect I may then have problems inserting the long filter. How do you manage the cleaning of the filters?

Also, for the DVD drive, fan controller and hdd modules on the right side of the case, I wasn't able to fix these on the left side as there wasn't enough room. I therefore used the specially supplied screws and then just slid them in:

However, this means that everything in the right drive bay is only truly 'fixed' on one side, the result being that not everything is aligned correctly with the front cover of the case itself. Do you have a better solution for this problem?
