is anyone using occt ram test????

memtest 1.7 pases without problems, but occt fails.....any help would be appreciated, i have run into a couple of problems with this board so far, hope to get them fixed.

have you tried the built in vista memory checker. don't froget to switch it over to advanced. i don't like memtest86, it doesn't find memory errors very well.

i got it to pass prime blend for over 4 hours, requires alot of voltage from the NB, 1.5+ to pass, all other voltages are either on the highest green, or the on first red.........so if ur running 4gb at high frequency you are going to need alot of voltage to pass.

problem with most programs is they suck at sub-zero temps . . .speedfan does work

Well... running @ 3.4Ghz 425 FSB, memory manually set at the ram's rated speed of 1066.

I wanna point out something in the Guru3D Review

To fine-tune for stability you can change out the HTT Link Multipliers (1x to 5x), both for upstream and down stream, so that you do not push the Hyper Transport speed way out of stability while adjusting the base reference clocks.

Hey here's a question,

Just got my board the other day and noticed a springed coil sticking out the back of the board, connecting to one side of the MOSFET cooler hold down. First time I've ever seen that. At first I thought it was a flaw, but checked the pics on Newegg and can see that board has one also. What the heck is that for?

i saw that as well and pulled it out, though hopefully that didn't mess up the contact with the northbridge heatsink??

nVidia chipsets use HTT to talk to the cpu, by lowering the multi to 4 and taking the HTT mhz to 300 you have a HTT of 1200, 300x4, stock is 200x5.......i have tested this and a bit of performance is gained by doing this....if you are benchmarking, every bit of extra is usefull.

I wonder if this would help me OC my CPU? I can boot @ 3.9Ghz but it's not stable no matter what voltage I use.

The Areca ARC-1210 8X pci-e Raid card works just fine in the middle slot. Just thought I'd give you all some feedback. I just finished installing the board. No testing done just yet, but will post back when I do.
