Another question in general about the 780i, is the fact that it uses ddr2 a good thing?
Right now its not a bad thing. DD3 is too expensive for the meager performance gains it provides. If you need to be on the bleeding edge, go for a ddr3 board, but expect to shell out a sheeeeee load for the memory.
