I notice around 6-10fps improvement, around the opening scene in mascaras' ss i get around 35-40 previously probably 25-30. Using custom very high dx9 on XP i see no improvement though.

GPU bench always works in XP , even with Hotfix

Crysis DX10 and CF still no go

But it is somehow better than 7.11 or HotFix drivers because framerate is higher though loads of corruption is still visible....

On the positive side PT Boats Knights of the sea benchmark is running perfectly in CF (previously it was running much slower in CF than on single card)

PS. I did it that big coz some people were missing that and asking belove... Hope it helps

single card before with Hotfix :

1280x1024 = 34 fps

1680x1050 = 26 fps


with new cat 7.12 i dont know

im not in vista , im using XP


in Vista Crysis seems not working , but acording to CRYTEK (via e-mail) its not ATI driver fault , its the game NOT optimized for ATI Multi-gpus and They also said they will release a Patch for game soon


even in XP only in first and second level seems to work with CF = game not 100% optimized for AMD/Ati multi gpus (like Crytek said via E-mail)


btw: cat 7.12 seems to boost every game , and also seems better using AA

Thats strange I posted a link to a german forum on the 3870 thread a while back with a guy running the game on xp and his crossfire scaled threw the whole game heres the link with pics.

btw: i dont see in that link any pics with CF in crysis in every levels
