TRD Phase Control alters the Performance Level setting. If you set a PL of six with the 10 phases set to auto the PL stays at six. If you enable the 10 phases the performance level will be 5. TRD phase adjustment is a way to get a Performance Level in-between what can be set with the PL setting. To maximize the performance increase the same phase on both channels should be enabled. Depending on stability though this is not always possible.

I found the last 3 Phase pull-in settings on each channel don't do much at all for memory performance or latencies when enabled. Only the first 2 phase pull-ins can alter performance. Maybe because my subtimings are already tight ??
