I really love the power consumption.
When I tested HD2900 CF setup set @777/980 +my X2 6000+@3500Mhz 1.5V power draw from socket was reaching 720W during 3DMark06 run!!
Now with this pair of HD3870 set @877/1311 all the rest identical I can't even push over 450W!!
That is huge improvement under load, but idle is amazing too! It's better (lower) with two cards than what it was with ONE HD2900Pro(XT)!
