Thanks for the info I think .....

    That dosen't sound good...

I just sent their support a note:

I was looking for compatibility verification on Maximus SE X38 mosfet cooler.

On the Thermalright web page it is listed that they will fit ASUS X38 mobo's like the Maximus SE.

    http://www.thermalright.com/product_default.htm

Select HR-09 under MOSFET COOLER on top left of screen, then scroll down under ASUS and select X38.

We see out Maximus is listed with this recommendation:
    Maximus Formula: I/O Side mosfet HR-09 U TYPE2, Up Side mosfet HR-09 S TYPE2.

I hope that is good info.

    I have just ordered:
    (1) Thermalright HR-09S Mosfet Cooler - Slant Type
    (1) Thermalright HR-09U Mosfet Cooler - Upright Type

After I clicked 'buy' I found this....

Looks like 1 dude ordered these and 1 would not fit correctly?

Do you guys know for a fact that they will fit on the ASUS X38 Maximus SE?

I will post how they respond.
