talonman, did you see the link to my post in the other thread??? i dropped 14*C by reseating with mx-2 and adding watercooling to the NB... and that was with a .04 voltage increase from the previous NBv setting. i'm in the middle of redoing some stuff iwth the system but i'll get you an update if anything changes. let me know if you need more info.

14*C drop is hard to ignore withought buying another thing...

(1) Arctic Silver CMQ-22G The high-density, ceramic-based thermal compound - Retail.
(1) Arctic Silver Adhesive.
(1) Arctic Silver ACN-60ML (2-PC-SET) Thermal material Remover & Surface Purifier - OEM.

It's just that taking the old off, and making sure I do the install better than they did. It makes us first time builders, and first time water cooling dudes a bit squeamish. Well, it does me.

I have to confess, your post is making me buckle quite a bit...
