I added two fans to the window of the case and tidied up the wiring a little.

(Check Below, I had made the pics too big, I pulled them so it's easier on the eyes, smaller versions below. )

Get some wire wrap. Wait, why is that OCZ memory cooler in that location?

The wiring would be easier if you placed the hard drives closer to the front fan and gave the Enermax some more space.

    Ghetto !!
OCZ cooler cpu duct lost in space. Bits of old masonite stuck in there. You're sure you're not the open test rack kind of guy, rather than a closed case guy?

but that front space is the only tidy part of the case!

Did you mod the side/gpu fan and the gpu ram sinks outblast?

I was squinting at that thinking it was a WTB sticker but couldn't be certain... I'm a Trek guy myself... if only I could peel the silver badge off my Liquid it would look nice on my PC-V1000

Well yea i need to rearrange some stuff there i dont have to much room to move the enermax because i have an Antex true power 530w sitting on top of it. they both get plenty of air and explel it out the back. Ive got these really cool lian li side ducts (hard to find) that devert psu air to the side in the back away from the radiator.

Im getting good temps now but I opted to get another 3X120mm rad which is on the way, for good measure. Since taking this pic I lowerd the cpu voltage to 1.35 and found it to remain stable.

I got rid of that ocz fan and put it over the memory. I have 1/2" aluminum sinks on my ram
Iv got custom sinks on just about every thing; to answer the question above..I made this cool air duct with a 80mm fan attached to replace where the ocz fans position. Ill take a pic shortly.

indeed ima avid mountain bike rider. Just went through 2 $2500 SantaCruz frames that snaped in the same place whith in a year and 1/2. long story but im not in the least happy with the company. Great bikes though while they lasted. Just got enough saved up for a Specialized demo 8 bike which is AWSOME btw. not to mention the frame has a lifetime warranty.

I got a nasty sproket injury so iv got some time to work with my comp. gonna let it heal up a bit allthough ill probably be back riding tommorow.

Ill post back with the cooler i made Ohh heh in resonce to the "ghetto" coment. Look under my cars hood..every thing might not be super tidy and polished but ill bet ill bet any body on the block

Nice, let's turn this into a hybrid lili/MTB thread.

Tornado 92mm on the cpu and 4 Thermaltake SmartFan 2's. This was the loudest case I ever had....still unsure what was wrong w/ me.

    Much quieter and better looking.

Here's a couple of questions for the v1000 & 2000 owners. I have this case:
    http://www.xoxide.com/lian-li-pc-v2000aw-plus-2.html
    1. Which way do you have the fan oriented that's mounted by the pci slots?
    2. Which way do you have your PSU mounted in the lower chamber?
    3. Or which way do you think they both should be mounted to keep things the coolest?

I have 1 intake fan on the lower and upper chambers on the front of the case, 2 80mm exhaust fans in the PSU chamber, and 1 exhaust fan behind the CPU and the PCI slot/side panel fan.
I have also figured out that by removing the black mesh that they ship on the rear fan, my cpu temp seems to have dropped by between 1 and 2 degrees. It's not much but it's something.
    Thanks
