who cares much about 10% less of cpu sucking with one card compared to another? these are designed as gaming cards for gamers rather than hd decoding dedicated cards![]()
8800 GT has good game results, overclocking, and runs cool, that's all what interests me.
though, it's a good argument to keep fighting with amd on its battlefield, limited to video decoding atm![]()

I noticed you said card runs cool. I agree....
i'm not sure what those ss showing 90 c were from or what airflow was the culprit inside the case but i've been running fan at 100% and ati tool artifact checker for over a hlaf hour now and I can say my gpu temps never went past 63c on the stock cooler.
