ok dude posting some proof of DX9
will do vista later.. need another HDD... used spare to backup all my files since this comp running on raid0+1 not complete yet ..

this is like already overkill for the GPU benchmark
i would trust the CPU benchmark more as its more realistic
the GPU benchmark a bit unrealistic on real life gaming

ok all three was ran 3 loops

here is just one on the first loop just to show u how the quality of the graphics is.. take note slight detoration cause its jpeg



the game is playable at this and very smooth..... the first loop is always less..

averaging 30fps min around 20 odd is not bad at 1920x1200 4x

Didnt bother to OC.

8800GT also running default clocks. (600/900/1500)

3Dmark06 with 4xAA, and its ALOT prettier than on an x1900GT!

Ran it on Vista x64



As a note: It gives 9601 without 4xAA due to the "weak" CPU.

Its also very quiet all the time. Even 3Dmark06 cant push it to increase fan speed. And the card is relatively cold.

Some swedish thread with O/C results for this card, so far with results for 7 ppl the GPU overclock averages ~720MHz core clock ~1005MHz mem clock and ~1690MHz shader clock, not too shabby as all the overclock results aren't probably maxed out results on every clock, especially shader and mem.

I'm dying here! I live in a building where there is an office on the 1st fl that signs for packages during the day but they close the office at 430pm. So I have my card there right now and its in my building but I can't get to it. man this is like teasing a hungry wolf!

Well, it is confirmed my card is non functioning. Talk about a bummer! RMA back to the Egg Friday for replacement. So much for paying for next day air, priority processing and all that crap. This blows chunks...

Every time It goes to 3d mode it hard locks the system. All games except Geometry Wars = hard lock. Tried RTHDBL too and it does the same thing. Vista Aero works fine but that is about it.

I even tried watercooling the thing with a spare Maze 4 I had lying around but no go...

Ouch, sorry to hear it . Ask the 'egg if they'll overnight the new one as a favor since the original order had next-day, they might do so if you're nice .

Have you considered replacing your PSU? IMO it sounds like a psu problem. On the other hand I found others with similar issues with that PSU. Look here and here see if this helps any? Also read the replies at newegg. If you determine that is the problem I am sure they can replace it.
