    @QuiteIce,

    How high have you manage to push your 3500LL Pro and at what timings and voltage?

    I have mine at 285Mhz 3-3-3-6,1/1,2.8v in Bios.

    If i loose the timings to 3-4-4-8 push the voltage at 2.9,is worth it or i am going to have less performance because of the loosen timmings?

    3-3-3-6 @ 285 MHz is practically the same as 3-4-4-8 @ 300 MHz... I've tried to tighten the timings, but it's impossible @ 300 MHz, not even when loosening anything else I seem to be able to tighten it.

    The point is, bandwith and timings go hand in hand, but equals out after a point. 3-3-3-6 @285 MHz is good... my 3-4-4-8 @ 300 MHz gives me approx 40~41ns latency on the sticks and really nice bandwith aswell.. I imagine your bandwith is somewhat lower, but the low-low latency weighs up for it - main point is... 3-3-3-6 @ 285 MHz is nice enough And by the way... I had to go command rate 2T to be able to do it, are you are 1T? If so... nevermind clocking further, you are fine

    Seems that is not worth it to stress the Ram any more.

    Yes,it is 1T.

    Thanks.

    Then you are superfine at 285 MHz with those timings! I'd wish mine would do 300 MHz with 1T. They boot fine, and I can test them there to, but orthos fails, and sooner or later they do BSOD, always... much more sooner then later atually It's not the heat, cause I've tested them at 1T @ like 5c roomtemp, so i guess I'm stuck....at a pretty good speed, so it really doesen't matter for me either, I'll stick to 2T there

    I've never gotten mine that high, it dropped out just over 270 MHz and I didn't need the extra speed running a 180 Opty so I didn't experiment. You might have better RAM than me - I know they changed chips somewhere in the middle of production without changing the product coding. Might not be a bad idea to push the 2x512 a little farther, though. I've got a 165 running with 2x512 that could benefit from better RAM speed. When my SETI race is over (1900 GMT today) I'll give it a go and get back to you.

    BTW - I recently purchased some of this nice RAM for $70!! Great stuff but I haven't figured out the timings to OC it yet. It went to 285 on stock timings (2.5-4-4-8/1T) then BSOD. 3-4-4-8 didn't help it's very strange RAM - maybe 3-5-5-10 or something is needed. I put it together during the race and wasn't willing to experiment with it until after the race ...

    My Ram is 2 X 1GB sticks.I asked Ram Guy at Corsair forums what IC they use long time ago and his answer was "They are based on Infineon,-5 Rev C, 64M X 8",i don't know what really means,i can't get a lot of informations about it.

    Actually never expected to go that high,that is why i am trying to compare it with someone's else Ram.

    Thanks a lot.

    Thanks,useful information.

    I was compare it with what other guys get out of this Ram and it seems that i can go higher.

    I am at 285Mhz 2.8v in Bios 3-3-3-6 1/1,i remember "Yellowbeard" said that i can go 280Mhz at 3-4-4-8 2.9v so probably i will be able to go higher.
