Wow, they finally managed to get computers in Arkansas. The saying has nothing to do with "Fanboys". It simply means the older you are the more set in your ways you are. Supporting the underdog hardly makes you a fool, nor does buying what you think is quicker. It just makes you different. Calling someone a fool because they have a different viewpoint, well, just makes you look "foolish". There is no right or as you say wrong choice here. The only thing wrong here are the insults and the thread crapping.

Cpus from AMD or Intel will run your computer just fine. Subjectively, the vast majority wouldn't notice the difference. Quite frankly America was forged on supporting the underdog. I see no problem with it. What I find hard to believe is why you seem to need everyone to share your viewpoint. Are you really that insecure in your beliefs that you can't allow a difference in opinion? Anyway, why not leave the "fanboy" and your a "fool" comments out of the discussion.
