Do have this right? To update the BIOS, do I just copy awdflash to the floppy or do I have to put the bin file on the floppy as well, because I can not get both to fit.
you have to use 2 floppy disks...1st disk is your boot disk, the 2nd disk carries your "bin" and awdflash.exe

Thank you.
yeah, i think that i read the driver signature is a biggy only in vista 64 bit.

Yeah but all it does is ask you if you wanna isntall or not and you jsut check yes and install it. Its not that big a deal. I have 64bit and I have used coretemp to get the vid and stuff. Ofcourse it doesnt read -C temps just like tat doesnt but oh well.
Everest works fine but reads only the 2 core temperature and not the cpu temperature... but the abit Uguru cpu temperature sensor is accurate?
My IP35 Pro cannot start, writes No Signal. Can m/b be not compatible with my RAM (OCZ2G1100GK)?
my highest stable FSB on the board i mean prime stable is 543x7, and highest stable cpu speed is 3970.

Does anyone have very flaky FanEQ?
Mine sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't (fixed max fan speed) during each reboot.
I sometimes get it back working after loading my previously saved bios profile.
It's really weird and sometimes very annoying as Tuniq is very loud at max fan speed. LOL

err, whenever i try to change the q6600 multiplier to 8 or anything lower instead of 9 for my q6600, it would show whatever the number i picked in bios, but when i boot to windows, in cpuz for example, it would be 9 no matter what i change in bios... help?

No, I haven't used a gigabit network. But it still ruins the point with 2 x 125 MB/s NICs sharing a 133 MB/s bus along with a sound card (as well as most certainly a bunch of other integrated components). I can't live with stuttering sound, that's what bothers me the most. But you don't seem to have any problems, I've got a X-Fi too but if you're on a GLAN and running it without issues I guess I'm safe as currently my Internet connection is "just" 100 Mbit, but this is limited by the ISP (and I use all of those 100 Mbit very often for extended periods of time). The actual fiber is rated for 1 Gbit. And 1 Gbit is a total possibility for the LAN, but no it probably wouldn't be used to full (as HDDs may turn out the limiting factor). But it still ruins the point of dual GLAN. And again, I'm most worried about the PCI sound card.
Ace-a-Rue
Yeah, the PCI sound card is my main issue here.

Yep, that sucks. Thanks for the vdroop mod though. I'm not sure I understand how to use that picture really, but I guess I'll scoop around a bit more.
I’m troubleshooting a ram issue that I posted about here:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=153669
I have a problem related to memory or the memory controller being unstable especially when using 2 sticks and one thing I need to try is to bump up the mch voltage more than I did before. So what would be about the highest I could safely turn the mch up to without any extra cooling on the NB? Maybe 4gigs requires more mch voltage to be stable, I barely turned it up before because I didn't realize that it stood for memory controller hub.
Also has anyone else had stability problems with this board and 4 gigs of ram or G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) DDR2 800?
