i see next to no mention of anything to do with the 2900XT. I think all who waited for these so called magical drivers are going to be sorely disappointed.

    ok

Not the most accurate test but on a

    x2 3800

    I've noticed a 10%+ increase in css
and a 20% increase in cod2 (with burgundy no longer being 30 fps at points - hitting 200+ in dx7 at the same point).

very good performance and the graphics are clearer.

yea supports, whippty doo. What about the performance enhancements? The major bug with aa/af enabled at high resolutions being resolved? What about the annoying fog issue in Source based games? I see no mention of the things that count.

Ya, know I hate to be negative but I am not installing these drivers until I see allot of positive feedback at DriverHeaven (sigh) I am growing quite tired of the bullsh@t with these ATI drivers I mean for crist sakes I am still using 7.1 obviously for very good reasons and ATI drivers scare me anymore because of the repeted let downs ! Well perhaps something positive will come from these drivers and I can upgrade without issue and not be forced to go back to 7.1... eck...I grow tired of this!!!!

Try 7.5's without CCC. I've completely stopped using CCC since 7.2, its not worth the hit-or-miss 50% chance of it actually working...

I see what I see, and you see what you see. I can't make you see what I see, but I can tell you what I see is not what you see. Truth is, we see what we want to see, and what we want to see is what those around us see. And what we don't see is... well, conspiracies.
