yup first PC2-8500 memory i've tested but can see probably the best for 5-5-5-15 at least

Crazy memory to be able to hit 634Mhz 5-5-5-15 at 2.3v vdimm for dual Super Pi 32M!

Alot of folks have had good results with Crucial 8500s... so I'd say it's a preferred buy out of your two choices.

A bit of information on Static Read Control and Transaction Booster. I did a real quick check of the memory performance number in memtest86+ with these. I won't list all my bios settings, as the absolute value of the result doesn't matter, just the trend.

4669-Static Read Control set to Auto or Enabled and Transaction Booster set to Auto ( same as disabled and level 0 I think)

4511-Static Read Control set to Disabled, Transaction Booster Enabled and level 1

4369-Static Read Control set to Disabled, Transactions Booster Auto

noboot-Static Read Control set to Auto or Enabled and Transaction Booster Enabled and level 1
