    Hm, yea pretty much hit and miss with beating the GTS, adds up with the it-review.

    DX10 SDK scores seem suprisingly good. But it doesn't make much sense. We need DX10 game demos.

    ASUS P8Z77-I DELUXE
    EVGA GTX 970 SC

    Total rapage in DX10 = DX9 scores suck because driver needs tweaking. For DX9 the unified architecture is set to a static vertex and pixel config. For any game and any graphical setting another config works best. This static config seems to have only been optimized for 3dmark and maybe some games. If more game profiles and settings profiles are added to the driver then DX9 performance will be a lot more interesting.

    It would be nice if a tool will be able to change the static config manually for tweaking purpose

    Did I miss the AA/AF settings or the system specs? Not much use without. Magazine printed, drivers must be getting on a bit.

    Now those scores are looking much better. I like how the 2900 is beating the GTS in FEAR, even if not by much as that is the game I mostly play.

    Having no clue on system specs, aa/af settings as well as any overclock or not makes it hard to come to a real conclusion though. Hopefully this is stock with some AA/AF so that a nice overclock will bring the scores even higher.

    Probably stock card with the GTS and GTX having a nice OC (stock though) from the Reference Clock.

    Question for you guys, do you remember seeing someone posting that some manufacture, weather it was Sapphire or HIS if not mistaken was shipping the HL2 Black Box and Stalker?

    I like how GTS is beating 2900xt in it-reviews, and how it is losing over to the same card in reviews by people with ATI logo in their avatar NHF just an obesravtion.

    Asus was the manufacturer who bundeled it's HD2900xt with stalker and Black box if I'm correct.

    @w0mbat
    Those scores are really nice, with a bit more of driver optimization I think it will easily beat the 8800gts640.
