So what they're saying is R600-R650 is just a die shrink, which will allow higher clocks, less heat, and less power. They will make no marchitectural change in the shrink.
What I was referring to was the supposition that the 2900XTX was going to be a 65nm R650. Fuad (credibility aside) is saying the R650 won't be out till Q4. The XTX is a R600 part. The R600 is 80nm.
