C1e doesn't affect my overclock. I do drop to 6x at idle, but ramp up to 9x with superpi/etc. Some other guy many pages back said the same thing so i tried it and my max stable overclock was the same. No boot issues either.

Okay here's good one:
I installed Zonealarm firewall on to my system and after install, it requires to reboot system. So ok, i reboot and when i'm logging into windows, it hangs on..well i wait minute-two, nothing happens, so decided to restart system, by reset-button. System reboots and bios startup screen reads below mhz white text "BIOS CORRUPTED, ETC..." or something like that..the text is visible about 1 second and next system starts updating backup bios to main bios...and after it is complete, says only bios update complete. This point i'm little wtf just happend. Okay i restart the system, system boots and shutdowns..boot and shutdowns..and never ends. I tried everything, reset cmos..etc...but no, still same problem.
So, i guess dual-bios cannot save bios problems after all. My main bios was F8 and backup bios was F5.
Try inserting a single 1.8v dimm. Usually works in this instance. Did for me when one of my HZs died recently.

Hey, that was the 'babel fish' translation. I don't speak a word of German so I have no idea.
However, I notice 'PCIe x1 bug'. I think that is all you really need to care about
Using my immense powers of deduction, however, I would interpret it thus:
"Helps to overcome the PCIe '1x' bug that can occur with certain combinations of components. Beta bios. Use only to test."
![]()
I wonder if the PCIe-1 bug has always been there or introduced by a particular bios?
I don't have any PCIe-1 devices so I can't help.
cheers

The bug's not about PCI-E x1 cards, but standard x16 cards swithcng into PCI-E x1 mode (e.g. while OCing). The same bug is very common with Asus P965 mobos.

f11b on rev1 c1 board doing 470x7 18 hours prime stable. this rig never got over 450fsb stable with any other bios. even boots 480 but cpu limited at that point. can't wait to try on my sig rig! very stable, no loop & poops at boot up...
There is also a beta for the DQ6, F10b...the file date says April 20th which is later then the F10c beta file which was April 12th.
But these dates are just when the files were uploaded, not the actual date of the bios build....as seen here

This f11b seems to be THE ONE for me! I was 100% stable at 7x489 with my 6300 but couldn't go any higher. And to top it off, to get to that speed, i had to go by small increments until i hit 489. Now, i can just go from default to 500x7 without a hitch!
Anyway, to sum it up, i'm loving this bios!![]()
Funny , f11b seems ok yet not ok on my DS3 e6600:
f10: 9 x 400 stable boot/orthos
f11b: 9 x 400 unstable boot, BUT 8 x 450 stable boot/orthos blend.
f10: idle 31, load 58 9 x 400
f11b: idle 29, load 51 8 x 450.
Superpi is slightly better too...guess I'm sticking with 8 x 450 and f11b!![]()

This is my take on the f11b BIOS on a rev1 c2 Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 mobo;
![]()
Priming at 7x500 1:1, 30 minutes and still going!,
that would fail ( hard-lock ) after a couple of seconds on earlier BIOS's.
No post issues ... yet!
Did Gigabyte pulled a rabbit out of the hat?
