i get 12400 with 165 @ 2,88 and the x1900xt @ 715\810... so that should be easy!

well got mine today , but i had to change right away the stokcooler , o got 65c idle with stokcooler





i run a 2k5 with VGA default and E6400@3500mhz , witout format hard drive , ........







one question , why the ATITOOL dont show the temps and the Voltages in X1950 ?????

i didnt overclock yet .



I found the diferences betwen this x1950 256mb and my old x1900xt 256mb , its only the voltages


X1900XT -------1.425v core and 1.896v memory

X1950XT ------- 1.45v core and 2.185v memory

I also think that the memory timings are maybe relaxed cause i downclock de memory to the cloks of the x1900xt 256mb and the x1900xt scores more in 3dmark 2005 with same cloks

hi guys, i started to install cata 6.10 for a x1950 xt and at the beginning, i've got an erroer message saying that "setup cannot find compatible video card" and then it stops!! i do'nt understand where's the matter

yep , the only drivers that works are the 6.10 (only the one that came with VGA mot any other 6.10 from internet) and 6.11 beta


i found if we overclock a litle the memory like 5Mhz the score goes up


648mhz core and 905mhz memory E6400@3500mhz >>>>>>>>>> 12770 marks

a new problem appears for me and i wanna see if i'm not alone with that :
By installing the drivers and direct x from the cd, all is oki : 55000 pts with 3dmark 01 and i offen go at 999 fps

to launch 3dmark06, i've to update the directx version (i take the last on from october)...all is ok, 'cause i begin 40 fps

After rebooting (and i didn't touch something else), all perfs go down : only 35000 pts in 01 and 18 fps at the beginning of 06!!!!!

does someone have the same problem????

I dont think so, X1950xt dont have that CF Plug on top of the Video Card.
If work like that, why Not 2x x1950xt.

x1950xt is 12% faster than 1900xt. also the Voltage is way higher than x1900xt.

Its a smasing card for the cash - but for Crossfire I still find it too be a complete waste of time.

Not inless they release a crossfire X1950XT Master card - for the price diference over the X1950XTX equivilent.. the X1950 Pro works out the better choice.

Either way.. a fantastic card.. still so bloody quick even with the G80's out!

New ATitool pre8 also have memory timings to X1000 VGAs , anyone with a x1900xt 256mb can tell me the timings please '??

nope, didnt notice that , all seams OK

open CPU-Z and chek if your Mobo didnt set pci-e x1 , some ASUS P5B deluxe after reboot set pci-e link width x1 instead x16 , that hapens with my x1900xt but with x1950xt its OK , always x16


@AMD83 , to take a screenshot just press the KEY Print screen , then open the PAINT and Past and Save
