    First stage

    compressor: Danfoss SC21CLX
    Home made Hx: 6m of 1/2' with single 1/4 inside
    Danfoss tev: Tes2 00 orifice
    Receiver: RLV 02 PED 77*220 V=0,88l
    Condenser: 1,10kW
    Sight class 1/4 flare
    inline filter 1/4 flare

    second stage

    compressor: Danfoss SC18B
    Oil sep: Temprite 900 series
    vapo mini condencer
    henry pressure releif valve 24 bar
    spun drier/filter
    kayl evap and line set from gray mole

    refrigerant: R404a/R23

    Load test: fx57@3.6ghz/-84 on DT200 -43 bios

    the movie

    took a few movies of the unit the first is just a look all around cascade

    movie closed as they took 4 gig of hits

    here is a shot of the fx57@3.9 and the temp stayed about the same -82

    me too. What is the pemperature of the HX ?
    Did you tested without load ?

    do you think the condensation will tear up the box at the in/out holes?

    this was my first time using a tev and i can tell now i wont be going back to cap tube

    the temps were balanced at -32 in and -30 out under load with the unit running for 4 hours

    i had run out of 402a so used what i had 404a but this is still early days for me so there will be changes

    That is great dude very clean. I think on the list at the top you have your compressors reversed.

    This looks like silver brazing rods...

    bazx, I would stick to the R404a, I don't know how the R402a will work with the TEV, as its designed for R404a/R507.

    Now that's some really nice work

    Need to get the rest of the insulation done and that'll just make it work even better than it does now, though it's certainly doing the job, and really looks good.

    I'm well impressed Baz!

    I can't wait to see the next revision of cascade now
