    heatsinks did the trick here
    no artifacts or reboots anymore

    the capacitators don't seem to make any noise
    but maybe that's because 11 fans make a lot of noise...

    Looks good man

    I think thats probably the most reasonable solution.

    Hearing a quiet noise, too. Broken or still fixable by BIOS or other stuff?

    If you let it overheat and then put the heatsinks, the damage has already been done. You need to install the heatsinks before it goes above the critical temp.

    Nope, prolly not. Someone put 2 120mm fans on it plus numouruous kickass OCZ heatsinks with artic silver 5 BEFORE even running the card.

    It broke after the usual 3 days.
