The reason I ask, is because software reading can be very misleading.

i.e. My C3 is prime95 stablewith 1.52v (CPU-Z), the other day I switched to another motherboard, exact same model and bios, and now the CPU is prime95 stable with 1.49v.

The default voltage of the CPU on both motherboards also varied by 0.03v

i.e.

motherboard 1 default voltage = 1.40v (CPU-Z)
motherboard 2 default voltage = 1.37v (CPU-Z)

I need to get round to measuring the real vcore....
no. I didn't measure with a dmm. I doubt I do that b/c it doesn't really matter that much to me to go poking around with my multimeter.

What I was saying was that cpu-z reads what my bios reads pretty much.
