AMD / XEON brackets are on hands now, I just haven't updated the web site. You can get them by just calling Customer Service.

The am2/am3 kit is available in stock. I will update our site next week (its not on it yet).

So at this time, what would be the smartest way to get a hold of a am2 bracket in Europe?
Play it nice until local shops list them, or have it shipped from abroad?

the hold-down plate was multi-mount from the get go. You only need the 1156 (or 775) back-plate. just email michelle@swiftech.com to get one.

You will need to buy the am2/3 hold-down plate, and possibly a backplate unless you got one already.

I will go with what the CEO says, that is, the kit will include everything I need.

Even if it is old stock?

I am assuming that the additonal parts for AM2/AM3 configurations have been sent out to the distributors so THIS is the reason nothing else will be required????
