i won't talk about the other board at this time, but, my UD3R board clocks Quad as easy as it clocks Dual i sometimes think it's more easier with Quad, as with my q9300 i never had to adjust MCH ref. and at this time the value is left at Normal, this is unlike what i had to do before when i tried overclocking e8400. however, i'm sure that the bios configurating can be different for each ram, cpu, etc.

i assume my board is the same (or about the same) as any UD3R and UD3P boards out there.
i again assume it shouldn't be a big difference, i mean there can be some small differences between one board to another.
if you are always lucky and always receive a good overclocking CPU, i'm very positively sure that you will love overclocking your new quad on your board more than before.
