I'd bet that ALL of the GTX cards have 1.1ns memory - question is, will any of the GT's have it? I may try to save a few bucks and get one of the cards that do and that will overclock the core well. Some of the EVGA cards come juiced up pretty good out of the box for a premium.

But why only EVGA 7900 GTX has 1.2 ns? EVGA 7900 GT has 1.5 ns but XFX has 1.4 ns...

Could be a mistake Trans, the EVGA 7900GT pdf says 1.5ns ram, but so far everyone who has those cards have found it to have 1.4ns ram.

    Big Question: does it matter?

do we have enough results to show that 7800GT with 1.2ns memory oc better than with 1.4ns

similarly, are there results that demonstrate 1.1ns overclocking results higher than with 1.2ns.

Maybe its just like CPU, many "good-performers" being down-binned to fullfill demand.
