    Daily, 24/7, silent CASCADE with case

    Hello

    Quite not standart cascade - because it's for 24/7 use .

    2x Aspera NEK series - most silent Aspera R404a compressors (NEK2150GK)
    SilenX iXtrema IXP-76-18 fans

    Make is silent and quite strong .

    R23 freon .

    -94*C unloaded / -74*C on 315 dummyload

    Sound level 57 dB (loaded unit).




    compressors: 2x Aspera NEK2150GK
    evap: steeper 54mm
    XV: ALCO TI-HW / captube 0.9 mm
    HX: plate HX , 20 plates
    condenser: 3.0 Kw, alu-cu, cooled by SilenX iXtrema IXP-76-18 fans
    refrigerants : R507/R23
    oilseparator : Shine Year automatic
    safety : 2x cut-offs - Johnsons Controls + Danfoss KP5 (one to each stage), Torrecilla 2.4l expansion tank
    case : Laser cutted and powder coated case (black) 69 x 69 x 54 cm, wheels
    others: Bypass valve - Castel handvalve, 4*REFCO panel gauges, Eliwell controller (turn on 2nd stage automatically when 1st stage is enought cold), PID controller as a temperature display on 2nd stage, clear paint coated pipes,SilenX iXtrema IXP-76-18 fans on back wall , cork sound insulation, aditional 230V socket on back wall of cascade - to plug PC there (power will be cut there is cut-off work).

    was that a 14AWG power cable? or 12AWG? it looks so thin ..ehhehe

    Question on the fan noise: With all of those fans doesn't it get loud?

    Sorry I don't know whats AWG. We use in Europe measure in mm2 for cables (surface of copper in 1wire in cable). That's 3x 1.5mm2 cable.

    Yes, all those fans produce a bit of sound, but as You know it's almost impossible to make 100% silent unit ;(.

    great looking project there!

    and just add 2 6 port fan control units....when not benching...one could reduce the noise level by at least 20 to 50 percent. (on fans only - them compressors are loud enough on their own - )
