I like the subtle yet effective changes!

How much of a mess did it make to polish the rails like that? (Thinkin' of doing the same thing.)

    Me like jazzy Cosmos'

By sanding and alot elbow grease

I stared with Grit P180 (normaly applied to wood, but gets rid of the paint)
    Grit P320
    Grit P800
    Grit P1000
    Grit P1200
    Grit P1500

And at the end, i used "autosol" to polish the surface with, this product is available in most countries

When you are done the surface should be very smooth before you apply autosol

    Good work,
I used 1/8" sleeving for this (3mm in EU size)

But i takes a short amount time, but really happy with the end results

Nice work Fumle, especially good job on the sleeving! What tool did you use to remove the pins in the ATX and PCI-E connectors? I'm currently sleeving my HX620 and i can't get them out with the sunbeam tool.

The sunbeam tools er are SH**, i use an pin remover from AC Ryan, it fits perfectly but dont use much force, because it will break
