    Gigabyte G92-8800GTS show-off

It’s known that G92 Geforce 8800GTS is delayed from Dec.3 to Dec.11. But whatever the date NVIDIA set, Gigabyte always love to release their information early than everyone expected. Here is a big pic of the latest G92 product: G92-8800GTS. And here is what they are going to do:

Yes Gigabyte also bandle game with their high end cards. Is a Neverwinter Nights2. The product number is GV-NX88S512H-B.This G92-8800GTS equip with 512MB GDDR3, 128SP, have a high frequency comparing to reference 8800GT: 650MHz/1625MHz/1940MHz(core/shader/mem). The memory interface is also 256bit.

With new products of G92, Gigabyte want to shift G80-8800GTX(Model: GV-NX88X768H-RH) with the new G92-8800GTS(Model: GV-NX88S512H-B) to keep the highend competitive strength. What’s more, the “old” gigabyte 8800GT(Model: GV-NX88T512H-B) will be EOL, switch to 8800GT with a Zalman costomized cooler.(Model: GV-NX88T512HP)

Of course you may notice tweaktown already published a 8800GTS review. Seems another graphic mania is coming. Are you ready?

Yeah but I got a 7900GT for $220...... which i had to RMA and eVGA was kind enough to send me a GTX lol. You don't think I spent $500 on this card :p.

I'm just saying the retail MSRP is 299 on this card but I can see it going for 399+ . But I'm not really in a rush.

Is that possible using the more conventional 512mb memory capacity?

What do you say about 550-600 € for a 7900 GTX or over 800 € for a 7800 GTX 512? That's 815-890 and almost 1200 $ for a gprahics card... Sure, that was a year and more ago, we did have some inflation, the dollar is sinking but there were no major price cuts other than AMD's and Intel's per 1000 units cuts.

Yes and I bet we are going to to see the same problem with the GTS as were are with GT. Low supply and high demand=higher then MSRP prices Glad I got my GT for MSRP. Also Look at how much power the GTS pull compared to the GT.

Wow, what are you smoking? Both 3870 and new 8800GT/GTS use 256bit memory.

All G92 based cards are using 256bit memory interface:
    8800GT 512MB/256MB
    8800GTS 512MB

Also, RV670 based cards are also using 256bit memory interface:
    HD 3850 256MB/512MB
    HD 3870 512MB

at least for now.... we are bound to see a big champ card out by end of this year or early next year... 384bit would be great but hey we might even get surprised with 512bit and GDDR5

I mean think about it.... the number of SP aside, the best card is still the XFX Extreme XXX card in its 8800 ultra model at 675 core , 1667 shader , 2300 mem.... and its 384bit memory bus... which I do think makes a big advantage over these 256bit cards....

    refresh of 384bit cards anyone?

GIGABYTE GeForce 8800GTS G92 512MB for Sale in Singapore

VR-Zone reports that GIGABYTE branded 8800GTS 512MB G92 GV-NX88S512H-B video cards are now available for purchase in Singapore, Sim Lim Square, at a suggested retail price of SGD$549 (USD$370).

PNY jumps the guns with 8800GTS

Listed for £199.99 with free delivery

PNY Verto GeForce 8800 GTS / 512MB GDDR3 / PCI Express x16 / Graphics Card has just been listed to play.com. It is on preorder, but the company claims that the card will be available on the 10th of December, which sounds about right.

We are sure that Nvidia will do anything it can to take it down but until that happens, let us share the details with you.

The card works at 650MHz, the GDDR3 memory has 256 bit interface and works at 1600MHz but we're are not so sure about the Shader number and speeds, as they seems to be wrong and just a copy paste from the last card. It should be the real thing as only the new GTS supports 512MB memory configurations.

Anyhow, the card should cost about £199.99 which is just a bit more than the current G92 based 8800GT or about €280 when you translate it to European money.

The link is here until Nvidia takes it down and when that happens we will simply post a screenshot for you as we have one.

    You can preorder one here.
