I did some tweaking, got the E6600 to sit at 3.5GHz on stock air, the RAM on a 4:5 divider running 4-4-4-12 The HD2900XT will run over and over on 860/1000 on stock cooling without a hitch
The FEAR result is... IMPOSSIBLE, make sure the SShadows are enabled for sure, you can't enable SShadows with AA at the same time, first you have to enable SShadows, apply it, then you enable the AA you desire.
For SURE its NOT working properly. I get 35fps at 1600x1200 FAA@4x, FA@16x, SShadows enable with my 2900XT@850/2000 using 8.38 RC7 and my E6400@3,2ghz.
You should get around 50-55fps with SSHadows enable and AA@4x at 1280x1024

It looks in this particular game Nvidia is far away(more then 80-100$, and less with 50W ). I don't have this game right now to test with the newer drivers, but considering 3dmark numbers 10-20% improvements in FEAR are sure

Guys i got some problems with the 2900XT cards and the 3dmark benches.
First of all i couldn't run 3dmark03/05/06.
I am double clicking the Shorcut and then the screen freezes on the first signs of the 3dmarks.
I went to the properties and rename them to xxxxxxx -nosysteminfo in order to run them.
But then, FM does not approve nothing
I saw som scores on FM with 2900...how this came?
Furthermore, when i run AM3(with the old or the new .dll) ,the bench ends and then, black screen everywhere. Ctrl+Alt+Del to end the task and everything is ok again. But there is no score...shi(f)t.
Any ideas when FM will apporve the drivers and when the 7.5 will come out?
Problems with CF goes on....the CCC opening and closing every 20 seconds....

why in 3d05 gets high scores? there's a particulare reason?
it's possible that the card will always have low fps, even with good drivers?
maybe all the new features of the card are useless in games... i dunno :\
anyway i think that game developers should work better on engines....
i mean... look at oblivion... 10 fps for crap graphics... not like valve's source engine: good graphics and 200fps.
