Intel is preparing to sample a 90-nm 128-Mbit phase change memory to customers in the first half of 2007. Mass production could begin before the end of 2007. The 128-Mbit had demonstrated ... wait... that's not what we're talking about!

Thats not very pricey to do if someone had a small enough cap in cap evap Cupcake, but when you dont want it thats a pain. Cost of a good solenoid is pretty high, and a hand valve can be a bit of a pain. Plus when its off you have overcharge possibly.

I remember the BH-5 days, somebody LN2 cooled their ram and got like like 10 more MHz, wasn't worth it at all as heat isn't the restricting factor in most cases. Overkill for sure, would have been better spent on the northbridge and LN2 on the CPU

Colder temperatures do let you safely run higher voltages though.

heh, yeah then all they need to do is find a way to make the motherboard traces from one of the "high temperature" superconductors and you might actually get a real performance boost.

Yes, but the first motherboards will use DDR2.
