Short test BBP rotary cascade - 56k warning

    Hello friend's

Some days ago, Piotres build for Team Poland [me and Matiz] small and quiet dual rotary cascade.

Yesterday we start testing this baby, but this is veery short test - time limit.

Ok hardware used to test :

    Old X6800ES Step 5 B1 - with a bit broken IHS

This CPU is tested with :

Air cooling - Tuniq Tower - 3850MHz for bench stable
Water - 3850-3900MHz stable for bench
Chilled water - 4000MHz stable for bench
Dry Ice - 4500MHz stable for bench with ... 1.8V
    LN2 - 4700MHz stable for bench ( 1.8V ) also 4920MHz for SS with 1.94V

And yesterday test with BBP cascade.

    Asus Commando with vdroop mod
    2 x 512MB Ballistix 667MHz
    MSI 7900GTO 700/700MHz
Be Quiet Straight Power Pro 500W

    Some photos

1 stage power up and temp

2 stage power up and idle temps

    -98.2C evap temp : 4700MHz when running 3d2k1

    Results ? Only three :

And CPU-Z validation at 4961MHz with only 1.78V

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=174192

So not bad - 4700MHz for bench at ~1.7V compare to 4700MHz LN2 cooling and 1.8V.

Validation with more MHz and very low vcore for this cpu.

    Piotres - good work

    Regards

    Martin

    Hey all

Yes this is a very, very small cascade, but powerfull

Clock's will be better with better cpu, this 6800 is not good clocker.

Next test with retail 6600/6700, hmm Quad

For spec of this baby go to Piotres.

And many thank's for all coment's

    Regards

    Martin

Long time no post at this thread No luck with hunting some CPU. Testing lot of E6850, buy E6700 ( 1 month and dead ), finally I buy E6600. Not pre tested CPU so this is my initial run with this CPU + sub zero.

Again only short test - 24/7 Windows - used for games, all 3D Mark's not working So I tried Super PI without optimalization for see what I buy

    Test setup :

    Asus P5E + vdroop mod @ first bios 0102 ( best for me )
    Core 2 Duo E6600 L633B
    2 x 512MB Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800MHz
    GF 6600GT
    Hiper Power 500W

btw : in bios Asus have vcore up to 2.4V, but worked only to ~1.9V

    Temp : idle at ~5GHz -98C full load dual core -94C @ ~1.9V

Max FSB on this mobo hmm too low for me. http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=255057

    For one person

    Idle 1 stage : -44 to -46C Load 1 stage -39C.

    Happy with new cpu Martin
