To clarify, Kylami is working for yojimbo atm on HPF2
I am working on getting bocksie (in a cardboard beer flat, gunna rename it boxxie) up on Mumak's account, but it looks like I'm going to install a different linux on another flash drive to get it crunching later on today.

But I don't see Kyalami detached. It still has GFAM tasks In Progress on my account.
Maybe this could be the reason of your problem?

Thanks again PecosRiverM. If things were not secure before I think your latest offering about seals it

If the global cache settings do not suit you may I ask that you set minimum work buffer on each of your machines to 8 or at least 7 days

Perhaps we can offer you some days after this quest.... Wouldn't want to miss the chance of catching that nanoprobe chap a little now would you

With HPF2, Mumak reports times to complete a wu as between 3 and 5.7 hours depending on the rig.

I need a better value than that when trying to calculate overall number of wu's to be able to say he will complete the sapphire challenge.

    Is 4 hours reasonable?

Could someone give me some typical results with machine specs added?

I calculated the average time of 412 HPF2 tasks returned:
    CPU Time: 4.315048544
    Elapsed Time: 4.355291262

That gives for HPF2 about 820 days. Even including a certain reserve for failed WUs, it should be enough.

Thanks Mumak. Working with 4 hours is on the safe side then.

    4560 @ 4h =760 days
    4560 @ 4.25 = 807 days

    required = 717 days

The HPF2 work units are already on the machines that are running and that before the end of new is declared. That was my one concern when I suggested the idea.

It was an unlikely ask but folks around here seem up for a challenge and now, it seems, all we have to do is the work

I have looked at the few HPF2 results that I can see on WCG for me. These are the last I have run before going to help others here. So they are older results.

    i3-540 2 results. 4.43 and 5.81 hours = 5.12 hours average.

    i7-3770 8 results. 2.99 to 5.24 hours. 4.04 hours average.

    i7-2600 @ 4.5 GHz 5 results. 2.55 to 3.38 hours. 3.11 hours average.

    GFAM Help

    Hello Fallwind,

GFAM Update for 8th June 2013. Today, we were credited 34 days runtime. We now only need another 14 days runtime to reach GFAM Sapphire. I can easily do this with Tiger Li's 8 cores over the next 2 days with the in progress WUs left under that host. At your own discretion you can pull hosts b and c back to your account.

Thank you very much for your massive help. I had given up on sapphire for GFAM. Your Xtreme generosity made the impossible possible. I owe you BIG TIME...!!!!

    Have a great Sunday,
    Jean-Guy

    Sunday morning update

    GFAM: 1:321, 820 InP, 68 PV
    HPF2: 0:024, 4300 InP, 550 PV

So it seems GFAM sapphire should be reached Monday morning.

GFAM on Monday as you say.

HPF2 is now good even if the average runtime is 3.5 hours

Checking my rigs today to get a feel for how long it may take for me. Maybe that will overcome the "daily quota of 5 tasks" kicking in too

Even with the "daily quota of 5 tasks" thing, I now have 28 days (184 wu's) of HPF2 work for Mumak on one rig. Once I can dump the last 180 GFAM wu's I hope to get a full cache.

Are we save for everyone? I should have an other 4 cores free tomorrow.

Similar here, just that rather than finish one and then get another I seem to get a batch every so many hours

    GFAM: 1:336, 760 InP, 66 PV
    HPF2: 0:041, 4291 InP, 696 PV

Is it normal, that there are so many errors in HPF2? So far I have 145 tasks with error. Carrissa, d, e, f, hosts return errors, but Carrissa is the error king with 136 errors so far.

heard of this before..... as long as they error in th first few seconds then other than losing the wu then should not be an issue.

    inP and PV no's ???

I just hit Sapphire on GFAM. Everyone can abort all tasks related to that project. Now it's full steam ahead on HPF2.

Thanks everyone who has helped so far.

    Next stop:

    Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2 1:093:05:23:06

We have 3515 WUs In Progress - not to mention PVs - We have approximately 732 days worth of WUs in queue.

I only need 272 days for Sapphire on HPF2
