    Got a few today.

All did 2800+ imc, but 1.4V+ 5Ghz 4C/8T h20 on MVE. A little less on Asrock board.

Newer batches seem to have better IMC than first ones, but worse cores...

    Thank's in advance!

I have quoted from mine other mesage:

    "Hi all!

I have ASRock Z77 Extreme 6, now using 2x2Gb G.Skill PI series, official are 2200Mhz/7.10.10.28/1,65Vdram, as seen in cpu-z windows.

From as I know, those mems are capable of more than 2400-2600Mhz with relaxed latencies, but on mine unit, doesn't want more than 2200Mhz, rarely boot into 2400Mhz, with 8 or 9 CL, 2 from 5 tryies, on AUTO SPD or manual set SPD....

Once I saw booted at 2400Mhz with CL7 at 1,74Vdram, but just one time...

I tryied with more voltage, even at Vdram, even also at Cpu, VTT, Vccsa, etc, no succees for booting, always restarts with cpu at 3500Mhz and default ram of 1333Mhz.

Cpu looks promising, as I get full stability for 4800Mhz at 1,24 vcore in bios on LLC1, 1,248-1,255 showed by cpuZ in full load on Prime large FFT , LinX, etc.

Could be a bad (poor) IMC on that chip?

Can U advice me for some settings to reach more than 2200Mhz with that MB wich officialy is capable of 2800Mhz for ram?

    I bought those ram too:

and not even at 2400Mhz, no booting, tried also XMP1,3 (official specs), on XMP or manual SPD setting, nothing...

On other computers, ram was achieved 2900+ Mhz, and at me, not even 2400...

    What is wrong?"

    EDIT:

I have decided to lower 100Mhz and 40mVolts, and use 24/7 like here:

It looks mine CPU have a poor IMC, trying aything, no more than 2400Mhz on memory.

But looks ok for 5000Mhz 4C/8T for Spi 32Mb.

That is strange time in sp32 bro...you have 1100 Ram frecuencies with tight timings and 5.0 Ghz

look my chip and timing 1200 MHz (1:12) @ 10-12-11-31

From my experience on two motheboards including Gene V with IB cpu, IMC has a drop in performance with CAS7 above 2000Mhz.
    I mean, i scored better with 8-10-8 than with 7-10-7 and it's a big hit , 6-7s or more. At 5ghz.

    ^ typical PSC bug

    TWCL<=CL

on Asus it defaults TWCL to 8 so unless you run TWCL at 7 no point in running CL at 7 better to leave it at 8 & 8.

I am also Prime stable at 4.8GHz but it requires 1.245V and the temps are about 10c higher. Should I just keep it at 4.7GHz, or would you guys run it at 4.8? Mind you when I play BF3 or other games the temps are in low to mid 60s at 4.7 and high 60s to low 70s at 4.8GHz @ 1.245V. From what I have seen in these forums this is a pretty decent chip and if I had a better case and maybe a H100\110 I could potentially go even higher.

Temps are fine for 4.8ghz, you'll have a Haswell in a year or two anyways.

Solid chip. I assume you didn't remove the IHS and replace the TIM? Either way, you are stable at 4.8 with 1.24v so temps in Prime are irrelevant and are safe either way.

I have the worst 3570K in history though, built 3 of the same rig (2 for friends, 1 for me) and mine takes 1.4v for 4.6GHz and IMC is no good past 2050MHz

No, I did not de-lid the chip. In gaming the temps do not go over 70C, and that is the highest workload the chip sees day to day. Sorry to hear about your 3570K, that's a really high voltage for 4.6GHz. At that same frequency I was Prime stable at only 1.145V.

    batch #: 3238B560

    5ghz 32M 1.304 4c 4t

    vccio 1.14
    vccsa 1.10

the IMC on this one is the jack of all trades, 2600c8 with tight timings, and it can still do 3066 32M in dual channel.

Hey guys when I look at CPU-Z it shows my voltage as 1.248. I have it set at 1.35 in the bios. Is this normal or am I missing a setting? Also on load with P95 it drops down like 1.2?
