    Ivy Bridge i5 3570K/i7 3770K batch and o/c results

Since IB was officially released yesterday I suppose it is time for a new third gen chip/batch discussion thread...

    i5 3770K: batch#3208C060

Cooling is under water with an XSPC RX240... ambient temp ~21C. This sample seems to do 45x with ~1.212v load, 46x with ~1.250/1.260v load and 47x with ~1.320v load.

(I've also noticed RealTemp is currently reporting IB at somewhat lower temps then Core Temp... but you can go to settings on RealTemp and change TJmax to 105C. and both programs will then show similar results.)

Thanks for pointing that out... "owikh84".

I didn't even realize that I had that old Prime version installed on this hdd/setup which was actually a leftover from a previous z68 combo that I was running. I guess I inadvertantly grabbed an old copy off a thumb drive when I first installed the 2500K/Z68 . Still from the limited testing I've done with this chip it seems more like a 45x/46x sample then a 47x/48x... I'll be testing it some more.

I think the 37 has hyperthreading, and the 35 doesn't. Not sure though.

I have the same exact batch # 3208C060, I haven't installed mine yet, but it's going in a sabertooth Z77, you like this chip so far?

Testing now - Prime95 x64 v.27.6 seems to require more voltage and gets hotter than v.26.6 - it has AVX instructions included that the previous version did not have.

Crap...looks like 4.6ghz may be where I'm at.
Prime95 v.27.6 x64 with AVX hits 89c (stopped after 30min) on air with a Prolimatech Armageddon and 2 140mm fans.

Might go back to Prime95 v.26.6 x64 without AVX...
    EDIT: 30 min as above no AVX v.26.6 9c difference @ 4.6ghz:

I would like to think that all ivy bridge will do 4.5ghz with low volts, but I need to keep reminding myself that it will be okay at 4.4ghz. 4.5ghz is a cosmetic number. keep telling myself that...
