This was exactly my question - what about 650TI? I am currently without OC under full load in 38 degrees. There is a lot of room up to 65-70 I need VOLTAGE

Hey guys, I'll look into adding 650ti support. It's probably the same as gtx660 since its a gk106 gpu.

    Hi CrazyNuts!

    Nice job here!
I have been on the MVKTech forum since the beginning but nothing seems to be happening there! So i google "kepler bios tool" and your tool came up! Cool!

Are you still working in changing the clocks core/memory on your tool? My bios with voltage 1.2125 goes up to 1359 on boost mode! but is not stable on heaven 3.0 and i wanna cap to 1320!

    Thanks for your work!

Guys, what can I do with my 1.175v ref GTX670? Its water cooled so it will handle more volts for sure.

I measure right behind the GPU.

If you measure closer to the VRM section (i.e. like most people do) you will always get a higher voltage.
I'll explain: The voltage will drop across the small distance between the VRM, and the GPU. So the VRM section
must compensate for this drop by raising the voltage.

You can lock the GPU clock with NvidiaInspector which is even better because the clock won't swing up and down. Unlike the K-Lock feature in EVGA Precision this one really locks the clock and it holds it there even if you approach your power target limits.

    nvidiaInspector.exe -setBaseClockOffset:0,0,0 -setpowertarget:0,150 -setVoltageOffset:0,0,120000 -setGpuClock:0,2,1262 -forcepstate:0,2

MSI afterburner and i just tested with gpuz and both shows 1.212 when on boost mode!

Yes 1359mhz! But i made a batch file to power up to 1320mhz for every game i have!Using nvidia inspector the way trayton is doing but mine power up my cpu to 4.8ghz and after i leave the game gpu/cpu will go back to powersavings mode! If somebody wants it i can post here.

    Thanks a bunch mate

mine aint reference GTX680 but GALAXY SOC white PCB and for flashing it u need to short a resistor, so im deciding to use the tool but not sure if something goes wrong i have to do that mod
a friend told me that he measured almost 1,20 on them so i dont think i will gain that much, but...who knows im always seeing 1,175 on every program on load...

    this is my PCB

    cheers

This is my batch file for farcry3 for my sli gtx 680 zotac ( i got lucky on those because they oc very good and are reference cards!)

    @ECHO OFF

    start c:\insp\nvidiaInspector.exe -forcepstate:0,2

    start C:\Insp\nvidiaInspector.exe -setBaseClockOffset:1,0,0 -setMemoryClockOffset:1,0,0 -setVoltageOffset:1,0,0 -setPowerTarget:1,150

    start C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe -setactive 8c5e7fda-e8bf-4a96-9a85-a6e23a8c635c

    start /w H:\Games\FarCry3\bin\farcry3.exe

    start C:\Windows\System32\powercfg.exe -setactive 381b4222-f694-41f0-9685-ff5bb260df2e

    start C:\Insp\nvidiainspector.exe -forcepstate:0,16

    start C:\Insp\nvidiainspector.exe -forcepstate:1,16

    start C:\Insp\nvidiaInspector.exe -setBaseClockOffset:0,0,0 -setMemoryClockOffset:0,0,0 -setVoltageOffset:0,0,0 -setPowerTarget:0,100

    start C:\Insp\nvidiaInspector.exe -setBaseClockOffset:1,0,0 -setMemoryClockOffset:1,0,0 -setVoltageOffset:1,0,0 -setPowerTarget:1,100

The writing in red you can delete if you are only using one card! The values in yellow are your core/memory clocks so change to the values you want! My cards can take those values easy. The blue line will make your pc goes to High Performance mode (my case cpu will run at 4.8 all times during the gameplay) and the green line will bring back to balance mode! Copy and paste from @ECHO OFF to last line where ends like this -setPowerTarget:1,100 on a notepad file and save as all files .bat (in that case farcry3.bat) on your game directory!Create a shortcut on the desktop and right click on it and put run: minimized!I have one for each game that is around 20! Some games for some reason this trick does not work! After you leave the game everything goes back to savings mode (gpu/cpu)!

I had that SOC that you have. Awesome card. You can flash it with nvflash I've done it. I used the lightning bios and was able to crank voltages up to 1.26, more with a memory editor and my highest stable at 1.26 was 1400. The card was recognized as a lightning in afterburner even had triple voltage support. Those cards are tanks. They also have voltage check points

EDIT: This was the best of the 1400 runs that I have saved, I recall hitting just ever slightly higher though I think it was the P Score and not the graphics going up. Would have gone more but I had an accident with my multimeter.

Yea they are nice I have a galaxy 4gb now though I wouldn't mind getting another SOC, gave all the Lightning owners a run for their money.

To flash it it was very easy for me. Protection was turned off and I used the normal -4 -5 -6 commands to flash with and all was well. Didn't even know there was a resistor trick that existed.

No I had it on air. 1.22 is plenty fine. A lot of people are running reference cards with the 1.212 bios mods no problem. My card with 1.255 volts was running about 75 at the hottest which wasn't too bad at all.
