Then SAM here I bow low low low. You are the bright light to follow.
But here I wonder. Can it be possible. It would be incredible. Are you the one, that our ancestors predicted will one day come and bring the equilibrium to the grid.

I think that during SC week he may just get ARSE pie when running dual 6990's

Seriously though, I predict you will need to have >250,000 boinc for that piece of pie quite soon....It has after all only taken about a week to go from 80K to 180K

Boinc Points on the left pie, World Community Grid points on the right pie! Don't mix the points. Sorry, but it's going to take more than that to get pie.

Unless it's a beast (see Movieman's), one workstation isn't very likely to get pie. The people in the top 10 have a gigantic amount of computing power - many times more than one workstation. That said, once your points start rolling in you can make additional improvements to try and gain a coveted piece of arse pie goodness! 1 WCG points translate to about 1/7th BOINC points, which is what are listed here. I do about 500K WCG points per day, and that's only good for about 70K BOINC. So I get no pie ... but that's doesn't mean it can't be done - so good luck to you - I hope you do it!!!

    Worse, it's almost 200k BOINC!

I had to bring in over thirty virtual cores last time to get within cooee of what people are getting with ONE decent GPU.

That's not enough! I've got 50 physical cores... Some day I'll invest in some GPU's :-)
