Have you tried clearing the CMOS by removing the battery, power cord, setting the CMOS jumper to "clear" and pressing the power button 3-4 times to discharge the capacitors? If that doesn't work check your temps. A good infrared temp gun is only about £15 and well worth the purchase in cases such as yours.
